We are hoping to cover our Christmas Tree with Xmas Helping Paws…..

 This year has been particularly challenging. We have seen a marked increase in the number of animals not being claimed by their owners, causing a high volume of pet ownership being transferred to Socares. We have no choice but to accept these precious souls, many are in poor condition requiring special food, medical treatment and training.

​

We have in our care over 300 animals, ranging from newborn to seniors. We receive no funding to care for them, but somehow we manage to scrap through with the help of our fabulous supporters and fundraising carried out by our wonderful volunteers.

This Christmas we are holding a Pawnation Appeal for people who cannot donate items in person to go under our Socares Christmas Tree. Your donation will be used to purchase items to add some festive cheer to the life of an animal who does not get to spend the Christmas period in a home environment and to also stock up on items which they need.
